Role in the Story
Yann stood with Kliff during the Pailune peace before the Black Bears attacked. Official pre-release story material groups him with Oongka and Naira as the comrades at Kliff's side before everything fell apart. Their separation after the raid is directly tied to Kliff's central mission — finding his scattered Greymanes and rebuilding the faction.
Beyond this framing, Yann hasn't received as much dedicated spotlight in pre-release coverage as Kliff or Oongka. More detailed characterization is expected once the full game is out.
Portrayal
Peter Bramhill was confirmed as Yann's English voice actor ahead of the game's release. Cast reporting published before launch identified him as part of the full English voice cast announced by Pearl Abyss.
